Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe was born South London, England into a family of mixed blood. She has a father who is Nigerian and Swiss as well as her mother is English. Her family was raised on an estate in south London council estate and when she was 14, attended The Brit School. The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art was where she received the BA in acting.
