Summer glau

Her popularity was due to the fact that she was a part of Whedon's subsequent TV series, Firefly. Summer Glau was very good playing the challenging role of River Tam. The character of Summer Glau, Tam was compelled to take part in government-sponsored tests in order to prepare her for her role as the ideal assassin. Tam lost her ability to regulate her emotions, as a result. Glau could show her fight capabilities as well as her acting talent on Firefly. Her experience as an assassin provided her with the opportunity to use every aspect of her athletic ability. Summer Glau was classically-trained as dancer. Her dancing prowess also includes studies in tango and flamenco but it was a broken toe which ended her dance career. Firefly was only on for one year, but built an ardent audience. Whedon's fans were so enthusiastic, Whedon returned to it two years later. Summer Glau however continued to perform with high-quality.
